Seth went to the Rollie Lane Wrestling tournament at the Idaho Center yesterday. He did a great job and was able to wrestle some of the best kids in the region. He was there with his several of his teammates from Rocky Mountain High School. This tournament had 44 teams from several different states and the competition is unreal. There were hundreds of boys there.
The Rocky Mountain wrestlers all did a great job and are the toughest group of guys I know. I would not want to be beat up like that. They showed great team spirit, sportsmanship and are just all around nice young men. I am glad Seth gets to associate with athletes like this.

I also feel lucky that Seth is involved with this team because of the caliber of coaches they have. They are fantastic people who treat the boys great. They are tough on them, get after them when they need it and are always there to uplift and encourage them to keep going. I am grateful for all the time and talent they share to help my son and the other boys become great men on and off the mat. THANKS!
Aside from the normal worries a mom has in this sport, Seth was proud of his most recent battle wounds...a black eye and big fat lip! NO, I didn't do this to him...although he sometimes might deserve it. HAHA!!
Hey, There Nicol. You're getting a hang of this blogging! That's great that Seth is doing so well in wrestling. It's amazing how much our boys have grown. Just one more year of high school and they'll be putting their mission papers in. It will be here before you know it..the time flies so quickly. Love ya bunches! You're a great friend!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Annie, those "Battle Wounds" are pretty tough! My husband just loves your son and thinks the world of him. Congratulations on having such awesome coaches, but all of the credit really should go to you and your good husband. You really have an amazingly talented family! I am always in awe of all that you do!
